Walking in summer, this light, warm fleece will keep you comfortable when you take a rest, or in cooler conditions. If the weather deteriorates and you need more rain resistance, simply combine with the Zefira Windproof for a waterproof system.

Worn alone, the Zefira Fleece’s water-repellent, air-permeable fabric is excellent for summer. Worn with the Zefira Windproof, you have a waterproof system for worsening weather. It can also be used as a midlayer with any Analogy waterproof in cold weather.

The fleecy fabric traps still air to warm you. If combined with a Nikwax Windproof outer to deflect raindrops and cut wind chill, Nikwax Fleece will provide full weatherproof protection and remove perspiration very effectively, working well in all temperatures and humidity conditions. 
Nikwax® Fleece+ is a high loft, highly insulating fabric that provides excellent directionality and extra warmth.

How will my Páramo Fleece outperform other mid-layers?

Many other mid-layers are designed simply to provide extra insulation when worn over a baselayer. Your Páramo fleece offers more versatility. Firstly because it is water-repellent it provides a good level of protection when worn as an outer layer. Secondly, because it is directional, moving moisture away from you constantly to leave you more comfortable. Thirdly, because in the worst conditions it is designed to work with a windproof outer to provide a higher level of weather protection, equivalent to the protection of one of our waterproof jackets. Therefore, it can adapt easily to a very wide range of conditions.

In what kind of weather conditions can I use a Zefira Fleece?

When used on its own, the Zefira Fleece protects well against mist and drizzle, or provides insulation on summer evenings.

Combined with the Zefira Windproof Jacket, it will give waterproof and insulating performance if the weather deteriorates, or in cooler conditions.

Equally, it forms an effective midlayer for extra insulation under an Analogy waterproof in cold conditions, making it a versatile and useful year-round fleece.

How do I look after this Páramo^® item?

This item works best if it is water repellent. Water repellency can be inhibited by dirt and residues left by normal washing detergents. It is therefore important to always use a soap based product such as Nikwax Tech Wash to clean your item and revive water repellency.

If, after cleaning, the fabric still absorbs water it’s time to reproof your item using Nikwax TX.Direct. This can be very easily done at home using your normal washing machine.

What if I damage my Páramo^® clothing?

Simple repairs can often be done with a needle and thread without compromising the performance of your garment. If it is seriously damaged, you can send it back to Páramo and request a quote for having it repaired.
